Just a few details on upcoming performances.
Ross County Fair
This Friday (8/10), the band is playing at the Ross County Fair. Tickets will be handed out at the Thursday night practice before the performance and you will meet us at the Bandstand inside the fair at 12:45. If you are going to miss Thursday's practice -- some people may show that night -- please let me know Tuesday so I can get you your tickets.
Our performances are at 1:30, 3:30, and 5:00. You will have time to explore the fair between our performances. (Fair Website)
Back to School Bash
We have been asked back to the Back to School Bash next Sunday (8/12)! This will be at the Bainbridge Community Center and should only last about 45 minutes. If you are driving on 50 toward Bainbridge, turn left at the very first stop light (by the Paxton) and it is at the end of that street (map).
Our Call time is 4:30. We will play the Star Spangled Banner and a few show tunes and call it done by 5:15.
First Day of School
We have been asked to be a pep band at the first day of school! Details have not been finalized, Mrs. Reed is the mastermind behind this. The idea is to be out to greet busses as they pull in with the fight song. It would earn us points but it would also mean an early morning. We'll talk Tuesday about how you feel.

Feeding the Band on Friday Nights
Cole, one of our student leaders is organizing food for Friday nights before football games. He should be asking about allergies this week. The idea is for each section in the band to take a game to share the load. Information regarding that should be coming up soon. If you have questions, contact Cole Thompson.
Have a good week! Yay Band!
